Semester Reflections From The GSPA

Our community holds the heart of the school. Parents and carers have always played a special role in nurturing the school spirit and this past semester has been a great example of this. Although families come and go, each family brings something special to our school. We support and care for each other, we bring skills and ideas to the school, we learn together and share joy together.

The Green School Parents Association (GSPA) has taken shape over the semester, with regular meetings, improved collaboration, events, discussion groups, workshops, parent outings, input into school policy development and more, established over the course of our first semester of operation. We are learning as we go and appreciate the support and enthusiasm of the parent community in weaving this new initiative into the fabric of the school.

We are looking forward to the semester ahead and to further improving how we support parent/school collaboration, parent learning and a harmonious community. Please keep an eye on your inbox for a final GSPA newsletter for the semester.

Have a peaceful and joyous holiday break.

With love from Kate, Uta and Helen (GSPA team)
